Thanksgiving, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, is a wonderful time of the year. (Christmas may try and say otherwise.) It doesn’t get better than expressing gratitude and appreciation for all we have in our lives, getting together with friends and family, and stuffing ourselves with good food and drinks.
The Bounty of Thanksgiving Day!
Let our lives be full of both thanks and giving.
Our broker clients, our insurance carriers, you are the lifeblood of our business and our partners in every step we take! You are right there with…
Our employees, each of whom form a piece of our family, a piece of the web.
Thoughts of Thanksgiving bring about the smell and feel of a crisp autumn morning. The changing colors of the trees, glorious hues of orange and red. Leaves softly falling to gently cover a slightly frosted ground. The sounds our feet make walking on those leaves. The joy and feeling of opening a door to the smells and sounds of special Thanksgiving foods being cooked, another happy memory to tuck away into our minds.
Although we celebrate the feast of the harvest, the bounty provided, it’s also a time to remember and be thankful for what we have – and to give to those who don’t. Whether we spend a little of our day visiting at a hospital, a nursing home, an animal shelter or rescue, it is a time to give thanks.
Our hearts are full at New Empire Insurance Services, and though we don’t need a special day to show what having you in our lives as a piece of our family means to us, Thanksgiving is the perfect time to express it as we say thank you to our friends… our families… our communities… and our country.
We wish for you joy, laughter, love, and peace on Thanksgiving and always!
Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving memory or thought? A special something that you do each Thanksgiving as part of your day and celebration? Let us know!
** Tip! Having a small group over, or just a couple people? Try this! A complete bounty of the harvest feast made using only one sheet pan! You have a turkey breast stuffed with whatever you’d like, alongside cranberry sauce; sweet potatoes with pecans; and green beans with shallots. You can even get a wonderful gravy made from the pan juices deglazed with a little boiling water. Perfect!
