The end of summer is drawing near and we will soon be celebrating Labor Day! Labor Day is generally celebrated a day off from work so you can rest and spend quality time with your friends and family!

The First “Labor Day Parade” in U.S. history was held on September 5, 1882 when 10,000 workers and their families took unpaid time off to march from City Hall to Union Square in New York City, where they celebrated with picnics, concerts and speeches.

Regardless of how you choose to celebrate the Labor Day holiday, remember that every person’s job and set of tasks matter and that everyone’s contributions should be acknowledged.  We are not celebrating a day off from work; we are celebrating what has built this country and what makes it so great…hard work.

Everyone at New Empire Group, Ltd. would like to wish you and your family a Happy and Safe Labor Day!
