Tropical Storm Emily is on track to hit Hispaniola tonight, and may make a close encounter with the southeastern U.S. this weekend.  With this tropical storm lurking near, residents in the southeastern states should prepare for the worst and hope for the best.  It is important to review your coverage before a storm hits to assure that you have the coverage you think you have.  Some commonly misunderstood coverage’s that vary greatly from policy to policy are:

  • Hurricane/Wind deductibles or exclusions
  • Flood/Water damage
  • Mold coverage
  • Theft
