New Empire Group Assists Victims of Hurricane Sandy

New Empire Group volunteered to assist Point Lookout victims of Hurricane Sandy whose home was badly damaged by the storm, and helped remove damaged materials form the home and prepare the home for rebuild. Working side by side with the team from Americorps, St. Louis, New Empire Group staff performed a “muck-out” of a devastated residence so severely damaged, the home was uninhabitable.
Many of our employees have been directly affected by Superstorm Sandy. As an organization we felt the need to give back to our community. It was a few hours of the most rewarding hours we have ever spent.
